There can only be one primary email address on the Paperless Proficiency Testing account. However, that person does have the ability to create sub-user accounts for additional staff members. A sub-user account allows other staff members to have their own User ID and password. Depending on their permissions, a sub-user is able to enter results, receive email notifications, view evaluations, and more.
There are currently two different types of sub-users:
- Non-Supervisory Sub-User: These sub-users are only able to enter and save results for sample sets that have been assigned to them by the primary accountholder or Supervisory Sub-User. They will receive most email notifications regarding the account. They will receive due date reminders if the option was selected during account set‐up. They cannot edit their own account or any other account. Non-Supervisory Sub-Users cannot submit results.
- Supervisory Sub-User: These sub-users are able to enter, review, and submit results for all sample sets. They receive the same reminder emails as the primary accountholder (excluding tracking number emails). They are able to create other sub-user accounts, both Non-Supervisory and Supervisory Sub-Users.
Both types of sub-user accounts can create a Continuing Education (CE) account while logged in with their PPT User ID. See the Continuing Education (CE) FAQ section of the Help Desk for more information on creating CE accounts.
